Our Story and Commitment

Welcome to our family-owned childcare centre, where over 18 years of experience and passion come together to create a nurturing, high-quality early learning environment.

Our journey began with a single childcare centre and a vision to build a place where every child is genuinely loved, cared for, and well-nourished. Today, that dream is a reality. With a team of trusted staff—many of whom have worked directly alongside our owners for over a decade—we are proud to exceed expectations in delivering care that is personal, by building on relationships with families and children.

Meet Our Dedicated Team

Our Director Julie Vickers

At our centre, we believe every child is unique and flourishes in a calm, nurturing environment. With over 13 years of experience working alongside the centre’s owners, I’m proud to now lead our passionate and experienced team as Director.

I work closely with our Educational Leader, Stacy, to ensure our curriculum remains reflective, purposeful, and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Stacy supports our educators in delivering high-quality programs that respond to children’s strengths, interests, and stages of development. Strong relationships with children and families are at the heart of everything we do. We value open communication, shared goals, and creating a space where everyone feels safe, respected, and supported.

Administrator and accounts Manager

I’ve worked with the owners of Parafield Airport Early Learning Centre for over a decade, with extensive experience in childcare administration. I specialise in CCS and ACCS support and am here to help make your enrolment and subsidy process as simple and stress-free as possible. I believe every child learns in their own way and deserves a calm, caring space to feel safe and supported. After 11 years with the owners of Parafield Airport ELC, I’m proud to lead as Team Leader and Educational Leader, helping children grow while building strong, trusting relationships with families.

I believe every child learns in their own way, and my goal is to create a calm, caring environment where they feel safe, supported, and heard. I’ve been lucky to work with the owners of Parafield Airport ELC for over 11 years, and it’s a privilege to now lead as both Team Leader and Educational Leader. I’m passionate about helping children grow and building strong, trusting relationships with families along the way.

Centre Chef

As a qualified chef, I’m passionate about supporting children’s growth and wellbeing through nutritious, balanced meals. I work closely with our team to regularly review and adapt our menu to meet children’s needs, following the Feed Australia guidelines every step of the way.

Maintenance Manager

I’ve been with the owners since finishing high school, starting as a handyman and moving to Parafield when it opened. I enjoy the hands-on work and take pride in keeping the centre running smoothly as part of a team that supports children and families.

Kindy Team Leader

I strive to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported. I believe in learning through play and tailor my curriculum to each child’s interests and strengths, celebrating their individuality and fostering a love of learning.

Sports Program Coordinator

I believe early exposure to sports supports children’s physical, cognitive, and emotional development. It builds coordination, focus, and social skills while fostering confidence and resilience. I love connecting with each child and helping them grow through teamwork, play, and shared goals.

I create a calm, nurturing space where children feel safe, supported, and free to explore. I value each child’s unique journey and work with families to shape meaningful, engaging learning experiences.
